When Should You File an Insurance Claim!?

Teenage and young drivers who are in their 20s face the challenge of paying the highest car insurance premiums of any group of drivers. This means younger motorists are paying more for coverage than an 80 year old grandma who can barely see. Most teens get infuriated by this, but hey, the accident stats don’t lie and grandma is just safer on the road.

So you need car insurance right away, but you are not too sure if you can afford it, or what company to trust. You see all kinds of ads on the internet claiming $29 monthly rates, but that seems really suspicious.

Every state has different, albeit somehow similar, regulation for auto insurance. All states require all drivers to have proof of financial responsibility in the form of auto insurance. Failure to produce such proofs can result in driver license suspension, fines, and jail times. Few exceptions exist in Mississippi and South Carolina where auto insurance is not compulsory, but drivers have to provide security deposit, post bonds, or pay annual fee.

The housing market has also followed suit and it has gone back to the levels of 2008 and people have also been buying cars. However, if people are planning to buy a car now, they need to understand that a good insurance policy costs a lot these days.

In a perfect world, every auto driver would operate his or her vehicle responsibly without the need to worry about the next car’s inappropriate or dangerous driving. Unfortunately, life is far from perfect and the roads can be an extremely perilous place for everyone that shares it. Fortunately, there is insurance that protects us from the very real likelihood of accident occurrence.
